The Note by What’s On Asia

The whole family, once a week.

One email a week, on Wednesdays: the best of what is on across every calendar in the What’s On family, Japan, Thailand, Hong Kong, Singapore, Taiwan, the Philippines, Malaysia, Korea, India, Macau and our United States cities, with dates checked against their official sources and links to book.

What is in it

The weekend ahead, surveyed across the family: the headline festivals, the exhibitions and matches worth a trip, and the small things that are easy to miss. A look further ahead at the dates worth planning around, the festivals and headline events whose hotels book out first. And the tentative dates that have just been confirmed since the last edition, so a maybe becomes a plan. Every event in the Note is listed in full, with its dates and its booking links, on its own country site.

One list, or one country

The Note from this hub is the family survey. If you travel to one country more than the others, that country’s own site sends its own weekly note in the same format, covering its calendar in full; the signup is on each site’s homepage. Subscribing here does not subscribe you to any of the country lists, and unsubscribing here touches nothing else.

One email a week. We never sell or share your address, and every email has a one-click unsubscribe. See our privacy policy.

Missed a week? Past editions are published in the archive about a week after each email goes out: Read past editions.
